Jim and his wife Karen were married in 1983 and have lived in Keller since 1990. They have two
daughters, Kristell who recently graduated from Texas A & M, and Jackie, a
sophomore at Keller High. Karen has been and remains active in many local organizations.
- Professional Experience
- 1981: Graduated US Air Force Academy, commissioned 2nd Lieutenant.
- 1982 - 1983: Completed basic jet pilot training and advanced KC135 Tanker
training.
- 1983 - 1988: Stationed at Beale AFB. Crew member, mission planner, flight
leader, flight instructor and evaulator for the SR71 Blackbird global refueling
mission. Honorably discharged in 1988 as Wing Chief of Training for 200 Tanker
pilots.
- 1988: Hired by American Airlines. Has flown seven different aircraft both
nationally and internationally. Currently a Captain on Boeing 737-800
aircraft flying from DFW to the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America.
